Empowering Children and Teens Through Music Therapy Services

In our current challenging times, music therapy has shown to be a powerful tool in promoting healing, growth, and empowerment. Heard Music offers a range of music therapy services.

JAB is focused on providing MT services for children on the Autism Spectrum (ASD), Child Development, and teens dealing with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

JAB is a nationally certified music therapist (MT-BC) with over three decades of experience using music as a therapeutic tool to improve the lives of marginalized and underserved communities across the U.S. and Europe.

JAB created Empowering Lives through Music in 1992. Since then he's led ELM  workshops, lectures, classes, immersive camps and residencies, JAB has worked with at-risk youth, incarcerated juveniles; inner-city and special needs students; emotionally disturbed, abused and neglected youth; shelter and foster kids; K-12 schools; university students; people with mental health, and substance abuse issues; seniors with Alzheimer's, etc.

He's currently working with Santa Barbara Children's Creative Project which has been bringing arts to the tri-counties for 50 years. JAB is also working with people with brain injuries at Jodi House (Santa Barbara), and teaches piano and ukulele to children on the Autism Spectrum via Skype.

Feel free to Contact us anytime. We'd love to talk with you about the power and possibilities of music therapy and how music therapy could empower your life!
