TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE:

Last month BABY SNUFKIN frontman SCROTE woke up in his Los Angeles home to a text

from legendary guitarist/singer ADRIAN BELEW (King Crimson, David Bowie, Talking Heads,

Zappa). Adrian asked “Baby Snufkin?”. It’s not that Scrote never receives texts from Adrian.

Scrote has been performing around the world with Adrian and appearing with other superstar

musicians such as Sting, Todd Rundgren, Thomas Dolby, Ian Astbury, and Corey Taylor over the past eight years in the popular touring show Celebrating David Bowie. Scrote also produces the tour with maverick music executive Miles Copeland who managed The Police, Sting, and founded IRS Records breaking R.E.M., The GoGos, and many others.

Additionally, Scrote and Miles are now producing the upcoming BEAT tour which features

Adrian and fellow former King Crimson member Tony Levin with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai and

Tool drummer DANNY CAREY performing the iconic 80s KING CRIMSON albums -

Discipline, Beat, and Three Of A Perfect Pair. Sixty five US shows in total this Fall including

the Blue Note Napa Summer Sessions at Meritage Resort on Friday, Sept 13th.

With all that going on, Scrote wondered why Adrian asked about Baby Snufkin out of the blue. He had never mentioned this band to him. It turns out Baby Snufkin fans caught mention of Scrote on the very popular RICK BEATO YouTube interview and other press for the upcoming BEAT tour. One such fan had written on Adrian’s social media that Baby Snufkin was his favorite band for years after seeing them open for Primus in Vienna. Another Baby Snufkin fan wrote in from Boston saying the band stayed at his house after a show, another had a story of late night post show shenanigans from Seattle, another from Berlin, another from New York, San Francisco, and so on and so forth. Adrian had to know all about Baby Snufkin.

Suddenly out of nowhere a small buzz is building about Baby Snufkin. Who are they? Where

are they? SCROTE on vocals & guitar, trumpeter JAB, bassist STAMMI, and drummer MIG

plus later bassist BERT, and drummers RICO and ERNESTO. They’re all back. Known for

wreaking havoc in underground clubs and as an opening act for groups like Primus, No Doubt, Pere Abu, and Reverend Horton Heat across the US and Europe but Baby Snufkin hasn’t played a show in 25 years! Until now.

With this newfound interest, Baby Snufkin decided to release a two song live single called

‘Snufkin Comes Alive’ and a new five song EP called ‘More Everything’. Both releases came

out these past two months. Plans for more new releases this year are in the works.

In the meantime, they are celebrating their current releases with a live show by the two different Baby Snufkin lineups and special guests performing a set each of Baby Snufkin classics.

Snarling vocals, fiery horns, and an uncompromising rhythm section playing punk new wave

originals with reckless abandon are their trademark. It will all be back but don’t call it a

comeback. They’ve always been friends in touch and playing in other groups all of these years. Just not together as Baby Snufkin. So, it’s not a reunion. It’s just Baby Snufkin’s next show and as always they vow to make it a memorable one. Their pal DJ Romanowski will be spinning vinyl before, in between, and after their live sets. It’s a rare day time appearance at the lively Mission District club the Kilowatt.
